Toronto,

Delta Hotels and Resorts’ President and CEO, Ken Greene, announced changes to the company’s senior leadership team at its corporate office in Toronto.  The changes include key appointments and newly created roles in areas such as Technology, Marketing, Legal and Asset Management that are in line with the company’s future growth. Within the past year, Delta announced that the company is undergoing an extensive brand repositioning to become the leading four-star, full-service hotel chain in Canada.

“I am thrilled to be adding such a talented group of seasoned leaders to the Delta organization,” said Ken Greene, President & CEO, Delta Hotels and Resorts. “The newly expanded leadership team will further strengthen our brand repositioning and better prepare the company to reach its growth strategy.”

The new appointments are effective immediately and include the following:

Yu Jin has been named Vice President, Technology and Chief Information Officer.  In this role, Jin will assume the overall responsibility for the continued development, guidance and refinement of Delta’s information technology initiatives and processes.  Jin has over 16 years of global leadership experience where she successfully implemented enterprise systems in a variety of functional areas and oversaw overall IT operation, most recently with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts where she was Vice President of Information Technology.

Charles McKee has been named Vice President, Marketing.  In this role, McKee is responsible for developing and executing consistent marketing strategies that support business growth, and enhances brand equity and awareness.  McKee was most recently the Vice President, International at the Canadian Tourism Commission where he oversaw all marketing and sales activities in its core and emerging markets.  McKee also worked as Vice President, Marketing for Air Canada, during a crucial phase in the airline’s transformation.  A graduate of Harvard University, McKee has extensive international experience in tourism and airline marketing.

Beth Gearing has been named Vice President, Legal.  In this newly created role, Gearing brings to Delta her broad and deep level of skill sets in hospitality, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and technology law. Gearing is responsible for managing all of Delta's legal and regulatory matters.   Before joining Delta, Gearing was a partner of Blakes in Toronto, where she practiced business law for more than 20 years. Gearing is familiar with the Delta brand having worked directly on various Delta projects while at Blakes.  Gearing is a graduate of Western University's law school and the University of Toronto. She has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 1989.

Marianne Duguay has been appointed Vice President, Asset Management.  This role will see Duguay continue to develop and execute the Asset Management plan for each of the bcIMC-owned assets, with the primary objective of driving superior asset and portfolio value of those owned properties currently within the Delta brand.  Duguay rejoins Delta after a year with Fairmont Raffles Hotels International as Executive Director Hotel Analysis.  Prior to her role with Delta as Director, Asset Management, Duguay was a leader at SITQ where she was responsible for the financial performance, investment management and value enhancement for a 17-property portfolio of Fairmont and Westin Hotels, located in Canada, the US and the Caribbean.  Duguay is a graduate of McGill University and holds an MBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
