Bastion Square marks the northern perimeter of old Fort Victoria. Developed in 1963, after the fort was pulled down, the Square retains the historic spirit of its heritage buildings and, at its western end, magnificent views of Victoria's Harbour.
Bastion Square is not only the site of a haunted alley, it is home to coffee shops, fine restaurants, pubs and a night club. Here you will find the former Provincial Court House (now the Maritime Museum of British Columbia), legal chambers long since transformed into restaurants and retail stores, the Board of Trade Building, and the International Trade Centre.
