Executive Chef Aleks Kornat has mastered his craft "on the line", through the teaching of others and as leader of the culinary team at Delta Vancouver Suites.

Aleks has carefully and creatively taken his restaurant chain experience from the Earls Restaurant group and applied it to the workings of many hotel food & beverage establishments here in Vancouver including the Marriott Pinnacle, Fairmont Vancouver Airport and as an opening team member at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia.  For three years, Chef Aleks instructed at the International Culinary School Art Institute of Vancouver before joining Delta Vancouver Suites as Executive Chef.  Here he oversees a culinary team responsible for the delivery of creative, tasteful and nourishing meals for individual travellers and catered events of groups up to 250 persons.

When not wearing his signature "whites", Aleks is enjoying family time, walking his golden retriever, mountain biking with friends or enjoying a home-made meal of perogies and borscht - true to his Polish roots.
