Terms and Conditions

Overview

Use of gift card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.  Delta Hotels and Resorts (“Delta”) reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time with or without notice to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you have a problem, complaint or suggestion about your gift card or these terms and conditions, please contact Gift Cards at the “Contact Us” information indicated below.

Initial Gift Card Activation

Gift cards can be purchased at deltahotels.com, at the front desk, restaurant and lounge of any Delta hotel or resort property as well as at certain 3rd party retailers in Canada.  Gift cards purchased at the front desk, restaurant or lounge can be activated at a minimum $25 to a maximum of $500.  Gift cards ordered online at deltahotels.com can be purchased at a $50, $100 or $250 value.  Gift cards purchased at 3rd party retailers have a fixed value of $100.

When ordering gift cards online, you will receive an email confirming receipt of order as well as the courier reference number.  Please ensure that you keep the courier number for future reference, as Delta is not responsible for gift cards lost or delayed in the mail.

Gift Card Reload

Gift cards purchased at deltahotels.com, at the front desk, restaurant or lounge of any Delta hotel or resort property can be reloaded with a minimum of $25 to a maximum of $1000.  Gift cards can be reloaded at the front desk, restaurant or lounge of any Delta hotel or resort property.

Gift cards purchased at 3rd party retailers are not reloadable.  

Obtaining Additional Information and Gift Card Balance

For information regarding your gift card and/or to check the remaining balance on your gift card, please contact Gift Cards at the “Contact Us” information indicated below.  In addition, your receipt from goods or services purchased using your gift card will show your remaining balance. 

Redemption / Purchase

Gift cards can be used to purchase goods and services (including as payment for taxes and gratuities) rendered by Delta.  Hotel services that are not Delta owned, such as certain restaurants, gift shops and spas, do not accept gift cards.  Gift cards may not be used to confirm or secure a reservation. If in doubt, check with the front desk at the hotel or by contacting Gift Cards at the “Contact Us” information indicated below.

Your gift card must be present at the time of purchase. You do not need to use the whole card value in one transaction.  The starting balance will decline as purchases are made.  Where your purchase is less than the current card value, the remaining balance will remain on the card.  

If your purchase exceeds the current card value, you must pay the excess using another method of paymentMultiple cards can be used as payment on the same purchase and any excess remaining using another payment method.

Return Policy 

If goods purchased with your gift card are returned, the refund will be placed back on the gift card.

Promotions

Throughout the year, Delta may offer certain incentives or other promotions relating to gift cards.  Check our website regularly for more information regarding Delta promotions.

Card Expiration 

Gift cards do not expire. 

Limitations

Gift cards are non-refundable (except as required by law), cannot be exchanged for cash and are subject to applicable laws. Please treat your gift card like cash and safeguard it from unauthorized use.  Gift cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.  

Misuse of the Card

Delta has the right to cancel any gift card, if it believes the gift card was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means or is being used in any manner which is unlawful, misleading, deceptive or unfair.  Proof of purchase may be required in such cases.

Limitation of Liability

Delta makes no warranties or conditions, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to gift cards.  Delta is not liable for any failure or inability to use gift cards in accordance with these terms and conditions.  Delta is not liable for lost or stolen cards.
