Terms and Conditions

  • Membership in the Delta Privilege program is complimentary and is available to individuals residing in countries that legally permit participation in frequent stay programs. Membership in and application for membership, in the Delta Privilege program is void if prohibited by law in the country of the Member or applicant’s domicile.
  • Delta Privilege program membership and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Delta Hotels and Resorts (Delta), defined as: Delta Hotels and Resorts, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • The Delta Privilege program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as Delta decides to terminate the Delta Privilege program, at any time, with or without notice. Members will have 6 months from the date the Delta Privilege program is terminated to redeem benefits.
  • Delta reserves the right to add, modify, delete or otherwise change any of the terms, rules, procedures, conditions, benefits pertaining to the Delta Privilege program at its sole discretion, with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of benefits already issued. This means that Delta Hotels may make changes that affect, but are not limited to, travel partner affiliations, rules and procedures for the use of benefits, continued availability of awards, blackout dates, room availability, benefit types and the features of special offers.
  • Delta reserves the right to discontinue the Delta Privilege program membership for any Member who appears to be using the Delta Privilege program in a manner inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions or the intent of the Delta Privilege program or any one of the Delta Privilege program benefits offered. Delta also reserves the right to discontinue membership for any Member who acts in a manner inconsistent with local or federal laws, statutes or ordinances.
  • Delta reserves the right to revoke or suspend Delta Privilege memberships based on unsettled accounts or a discrepancy with Privilege memberships until accounts have been settled or the issue has been resolved. 
  • Discontinued membership may result in the cancellation of benefits and privileges. In addition to discontinuance of the Delta Privilege program, Delta shall have the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, including criminal prosecution, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion.
  • All interpretations of the Delta Privilege program’s Terms and Conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Delta.
  • Each Member is responsible for advising Delta of any profile information changes. As advised at enrollment, Delta is authorized to bill any charges incurred by the Member at Delta or participating hotels to the Member's personal credit card number provided at time of reservation.
  • Specific Delta Privilege program benefits and services have been established for all Members; however, benefits and services offered by participating hotels may vary.
  • Delta is not responsible, and assumes no liability, for changes or discontinuation of partner services, which may affect the Delta Privilege program.
  • Delta reserves the right to limit stay/room night credit, frequent flyer miles, and membership benefits to airline rates, prepaid wholesale/tour operator packages, complimentary rooms, special negotiated rates, industry discounted rates, employee discounted rates and any online bookings made outside of deltahotels.com.
  • Neither Delta nor the Delta Privilege program is responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail. Delta is not responsible for, and reserves the right to correct any pricing or typographical errors, errors of description, or errors regarding participating properties and Partners.
  • It is the responsibility of the Member to report any lost or stolen membership cards or credit cards to Delta Privilege, c/o Marketing Services Department, Delta Hotels and Resorts; Global Reservation Services at 1-888-321-DELTA (3358) immediately to avoid unauthorized use of the card. Delta is not responsible for any charges incurred as a result of misuse of a lost or stolen membership card, unless the loss has been reported.
  • Any communication relating to a program change, membership tier level change or account notice change, is not considered Promotional communication and therefore the member will continue to receive updates via mail and/or e-mail communication based on the information provided by the member in his/her profile.
  • Delta provides the Delta Privilege program with these and other materials, and other services and products "as-is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, expressly disclaims any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, design, accuracy, capability, sufficiency, suitability, capacity, completeness or availability. The Member agrees that Delta does not represent, warrant or guarantee that the Delta Privilege program or any such other products and services will be uninterrupted, without omissions or error free, or that defects will be corrected or changes implemented. Under no circumstances, shall Delta be held liable for, including, but not limited to, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the Delta Privilege or any such other products and services, even if Delta or a Delta representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore such exclusions may not apply. In the event Delta is held liable for any damages related to such matters, the Member's sole and exclusive remedy will be limited to reimbursement for services or products paid by the Member to the entity held liable which were provided by such entity. The Member hereby waives any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to such matters in any forum beyond two years after the first occurrence of the kind of act, event, condition or omission upon which the claim or action is based.
  • Your Personal Information will be used for the purpose of providing you with services at our hotels and resorts, servicing your requests, improving our services, developing and informing you of additional services provided by Delta and the Delta Privilege program, or by any direct or indirect affiliate or our business partners that may be of interest, or answering questions you may have. For example, such information may be used to inform you about programs related to hotels, car rentals, airlines, consumer products or other offerings. We may also communicate and disclose Personal Information to our affiliates, and we and our affiliates may communicate and disclose your information to other third parties in order to offer or provide you with any special offers or services that may be of interest to you, unless you notify us of your intention to opt out in the manner described below. Occasionally, we will send you communications with information, which may be useful to you, including information and offerings about our services or those of our affiliates or third parties unless you decide to opt out in the manner described below. We may also aggregate statistics that we gather about our customers and provide these statistics to third parties. However, when we do, these statistics will not include Personal Information that identifies individuals. All reasonable measures have also been taken so that the information you provide to us will not be used by our affiliates or third parties for purposes other than those indicated in this Privacy Policy. We may also use, disclose and communicate your Personal Information if required to do so by law, including by an order of any court. In the event that we disclose your Personal Information to an affiliate or third party, and if you give your consent to such person to collect, use, disclose or communicate such information for new or different purposes than those set out in this Privacy Policy, then you agree that, to the extent permitted by law, such person may collect, use, disclose and communicate such information for those purposes as well as for those set out herein. Program Overview

  • Delta reserves the right to add, modify or delete benefits at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
  • Delta Privilege membership is for the sole use of that Member and is non-transferable.
  • Members are required to update Delta with any changes to personal information that could affect their membership.
  • All Delta Privilege Members are required to present a valid credit card in their name at time of check-in). 
  • It is the Member’s responsibility to set up a membership profile, which includes providing an active e-mail address in order to join the program. It’s also the Member’s responsibility to report a lost or stolen membership card.
  • Delta reserves the right to request Members to present their membership card along with photo ID at any time during their stay. Members may also be required to present valid photo identification at any point throughout their stay to verify their identity. 
  • Delta has the right to restrict benefits and discontinue a Member’s profile.
  • Members are required to provide their Delta Privilege number at time of reservation. At check-in, Members may be required to provide their Delta privilege number and photo ID.
  • Delta Privilege Members are not exempt from no-show charges. Members are not entitled to receive stay/room night credit or frequent flyer miles for no-shows. 
  • Delta Privilege member reservations and hotel stay credit are non-transferable from one guest to another. Name changes are not permitted on an existing reservation.

Earning Delta Privilege Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus+ Status

  • To receive credit towards Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus+ status, a Member must be a registered guest of the hotel.
  • Stay/room night credit towards Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus+ status begins on that stay in which a guest enrolls in the Delta Privilege program.
  • A stay is defined as consecutive nights in the same hotel regardless of the number of check-ins/checkouts that may occur. Some stays do not qualify for stay credit.  See deltahotels.com/privilege for a list of qualifying/non-qualifying rates.
  • Stay credit for Delta Privilege is for individual travel only. Only one Delta Privilege Member will receive credit for a stay, regardless of the number of Members in the room. Requests to divide or consolidate folios after the stay will not be accepted.
  • The qualifying period to achieve stays/room nights for Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus+ membership is based on a calendar year for renewal purposes (Jan. 01 to Dec. 31).
  • Members are not permitted to purchase upgrades to a higher Delta Privilege level. This includes paying for additional stays or room nights when the member is not actually staying. In order to be credited for membership stays/room nights, the member must be present.
  • Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus+ memberships are active from March 1st to the end of February each year. As of March 1st, Members are renewed with full benefit entitlement, based on stays/room nights (and number of hotels for Platinum Plus+) achieved during the previous calendar year. Benefits do not carry over from one membership year to the next.
  • In order to achieve Platinum Plus+ status, there is a minimum of a three hotel stay requirement.
  • Members, who achieve the required stays or room nights earlier in the year, will be upgraded to Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus+ automatically. These upgrades occur from May to October. No upgrades will occur after this period until our annual membership renewal, which takes place March 1st.
  • Owners of private residences, time-shares and owned units are permitted to be Delta Privilege Members; however, Delta Privilege benefits do not apply and members will not earn credit toward their membership level when staying in their owned unit.

Delta Privilege Credits

  • The use of credits for room charges is exclusive of taxes, gratuities and other incidental charges (i.e. in-room movies, parking, telephone, etc.) and does not apply to stay packages.
  • Members are entitled to redeem credits for room charges (or the upgrade portion only) and dining charges when staying on a non-qualifying rate.
  • In order for Members to access their credits for dining/room redemption or room upgrades, Members must first present their membership card prior to ordering at any participating Delta restaurant to redeem credits for dining and at the front desk upon check-in to redeem room/room upgrade benefits, if available.
  • Credits for dining are valid at participating Delta restaurants after 11:00 a.m. Credits for dining do not include taxes, gratuities or alcohol. Credits for dining or room stays are not valid for New Year’s Eve. Other restrictions may apply, check with the front desk at the hotel.
  • Delta Privilege memberships, including membership cards, are non-transferable. Members can use their credits to pay for a guest’s room, dining, meeting and event charges; however the member must be in attendance and present the card at time of payment.
  • Delta Privilege Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus+ Members may redeem credits for Meetings and events. Only one Member is allowed to redeem credits per function. Member must be present at function in order to redeem credits. Meeting room redemptions include room rental, food and non-alcoholic beverages. Does not include taxes, gratuities, service charges or alcohol. 

Delta Privilege Room Upgrades

  • Delta Privilege Gold and Platinum Members are eligible for upgrades at time of check-in, based on availability. Upgrades are defined as the next room category from what was reserved, up to and including Signature Club and suites.
  • Delta Hotels reserves the right to exclude "specialty suites" (such as Presidential suites) from this benefit.
  • Upgrades to best available room are not valid for New Year’s Eve.
  • Access to Signature Club Lounges is reserved for members staying in Signature Club rooms only.
  • The Delta Privilege Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus+ upgrade benefit is not available for private residences, time-shares, specialty suites, ownership units, or any other unit/room that is being sold by Delta on behalf of the owner. This also includes "cross-upgrading" (ie: member is reserved in the hotel/resort and requests an upgrade to the residence). Members are permitted to upgrade by paying the determined incremental upgrade charge.
  • Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus+ members are not entitled to redeem for an upgrade, when staying on a non-qualifying rate. 

Delta Privilege Member

  • Delta Privilege Members who achieve Gold status and are upgraded within the same membership year will receive a new Gold membership kit in the mail, including a membership card loaded with $200 with hotel credits to be used towards dining, guest room, meetings and event charges.
  • Members enjoy in-room complimentary high-speed (Internet XL, where available) / wireless Internet access. Not available in all room types. Confirm availability at time of check-in.
  • Access to Signature Club Lounge is reserved for members staying in Signature Club rooms only.
  • Members are entitled to a speedy check-in from the moment a Member arrives at the designated Delta Privilege check-in area.
  • Express "no-wait" checkout - On the designated day of departure, a Delta Privilege Member’s bill is slipped under the door by 6:00 a.m.
  • "I’m On My Way" Early Check-In –Members can check in as early as 8:00 a.m. by calling 1-888-321-DELTA (3358) 60 minutes prior to their arrival. Guests are also entitled to advise of their early arrival at time of reservation.
  • Members will receive up to 500 frequent flyer miles on qualifying rates, including Aeroplan Miles® per stay. 

Delta Privilege Gold

  • Delta Privilege Gold membership will be awarded to Members with 5 stays or 10 room nights per calendar year (Jan. 01 to Dec. 31).
  • Delta Privilege Gold Members must swipe their card in order to redeem their benefits, including dining, guest rooms, meeting and event charges or room upgrades.
  • A maximum of $200 in credit is available on the Gold Member’s card for use at any Delta Hotel within the membership year (Mar. 01 to Feb 28) towards dining, guest rooms, meeting and event charges. Gold Members cannot use credits towards room stays on New Year’s Eve.
  • Gold Members who achieve Platinum status within the same membership year will simply be topped up to a maximum of $300 on their existing membership card.
  • Gold Members are eligible for two upgrades at time of check-in, based on availability. Upgrades are defined as the next room category from what was reserved, up to and including Signature Club, and suites. Room upgrades are confirmed at time of check-in on a "first-come, first-served" basis and cannot be confirmed ahead of time.
  • Delta Hotels reserves the right to exclude "specialty suites" (such as Presidential suites) from this benefit.
  • Based on availability, upgrades are valid for a two-night stay. Gold Members staying more than two nights can redeem their other upgrade for the additional nights.
  • Gold Members enjoy in-room complimentary high-speed (Internet XL, where available) / wireless Internet access. Not available in all room types. Confirm availability at time of check-in.
  • Access to Signature Club Lounge is reserved for members staying in Signature Club rooms only.
  • Gold Members are entitled to a speedy check-in from the moment a Member arrives at the designated Delta Privilege check-in area.
  • Express "no-wait" checkout occurs on the designated day of departure whereby the Gold Member’s bill is slipped under the door by 6:00 a.m.
  • "I’m On My Way" Early Check-In – Gold Members can check in as early as 8:00 a.m. by calling 1-888-321-DELTA (3358) 60 minutes prior to their arrival. Guests are also entitled to advise of their early arrival at time of reservation.
  • Gold Members are entitled to a late check out until 4:00 p.m. at city-centre/airport properties and 2:00 p.m. at resorts. Members must advise the front desk if using this benefit prior to the hotel’s published check-out time.
  • Delta Privilege memberships, including membership cards, are non-transferable. Gold Members can use their credits to pay for a guest’s room, dining, meeting and event charges; however, the Member must be in attendance and present the card at time of payment.
  • Gold Members will receive up to 500 frequent flyer miles on qualifying rates, including Aeroplan® Miles per stay.

Delta Privilege Platinum

  • Delta Privilege Platinum membership will be awarded to Platinum Members with 15 stays or 30 room nights per calendar year (Jan. 01 to Dec. 31).
  • A maximum of $300 in credit is available on the Member’s card for use at any Delta hotel within the membership year (Mar. 01 to Feb. 28) towards dining, guest room, meeting and event charges. Members cannot use credits towards room stays on New Year’s Eve.
  • Platinum Members who achieve Platinum Plus+ status within the same membership year will simply be topped up to a maximum of $500 on their existing membership card.
  • Platinum Members must swipe their card in order to redeem benefits towards dining, guest room, meeting and event charges or upgrades.
  • Platinum Members are eligible for unlimited upgrades at time of check-in, based on availability. Upgrades are defined as the next room category from what was reserved, up to and including Signature Club and suites.
  • Delta reserves the right to exclude "specialty suites" (such as Presidential suites) from this benefit.
  • Room upgrades are confirmed at time of check-in on a "first-come, first-served" basis and cannot be confirmed ahead of time. Based on availability, upgrades are valid for the duration of the Member’s stay. Some restrictions may apply for long-stay guests (stays greater than 7 nights at resorts and stays greater than 14 nights at airport / city centre hotels).
  • Platinum Members enjoy complimentary in-room high-speed (Internet XL, where available) / wireless Internet access. Not available in all room types. Confirm availability at time of check-in.
  • Access to Signature Club Lounge is reserved for members staying in Signature Club rooms only.
  • The 48-hour guarantee is defined as a two-day booking window (i.e. Members who call on the 10th are guaranteed a room on the 12th, but not on the 11th regardless of the actual time called).  Valid for one standard guest room when paying the hotel’s Daily rate.  Benefit cannot be used in conjunction with any type of promotional, discounted or negotiated rates.  Some blackout dates apply/not applicable at some resorts.
  • Platinum Members are entitled to a speedy check-in from the moment a Member arrives at the designated Delta Privilege check-in area.
  • Platinum Members enjoy complimentary full American or continental breakfast each morning, up to the value of a Delta Canadian Classic breakfast or breakfast buffet. Price varies by property.
  • Express "no-wait" checkout occurs on the designated day of departure whereby the Platinum Member’s bill is slipped under the door by 6:00 a.m.
  • "I’m On My Way" Early Check-In – Platinum Members can check in as early as 8:00 a.m. by calling 1-888-573-4831, 60 minutes prior to their arrival. Guests are also entitled to advise of their early arrival at time of reservation.
  • Delta Privilege memberships, including membership cards, are non-transferable. Members can use their credits to pay for a guest’s room, dining or meeting room charges; however, the member must be in attendance and present the card at time of payment.
  • Platinum Members will receive up to 500 frequent flyer miles on qualifying rates, including Aeroplan® Miles per stay. Platinum Members enjoy complimentary in-room high-speed (Internet XL, where available) / wireless Internet access. Not available in all room types. Confirm availability at time of reservation.

Delta Privilege Platinum Plus+

  • Delta Privilege Platinum Plus+ membership will be awarded to Platinum Plus+ Members with 25 stays or 50 room nights at three or more Delta hotels per calendar year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31).
  • A maximum of $500 in credit is available on the Member’s card for use at any Delta hotel within the membership year (Mar. 1 to Feb. 28). Members cannot use credits towards room stays on New Year’s Eve.
  • Platinum Plus+ Members must swipe their card in order to redeem dining and room redemption benefits. Platinum Plus+ Members are not required to swipe their card for room upgrades. Members being upgraded throughout the year will simply be topped up to the maximum credits for that level, to a total of $500 in credit when achieving Platinum Plus+.
  • Room upgrades are confirmed at time of check-in on a "first-come, first-served" basis and cannot be confirmed ahead of time.  Based on availability, upgrades are valid for the duration of the Member’s stay. Some restrictions may apply for long-stay guests (stays greater than 7 nights at resorts and stays greater than 14 nights at airport / city centre hotels).
  • Platinum Plus+ Members enjoy unlimited upgrades to the best available room at time of check-in, including Signature Club and suites, based on availability.
  • Delta reserves the right to exclude "specialty suites" (such as Presidential suites) from this benefit.
  • Platinum Plus+ Members enjoy complimentary in-room high-speed (Internet XL, where available) / wireless Internet access. Not available in all room types. Confirm availability at time of reservation.
  • Platinum Plus+ members who are also Aeroplan® members will be awarded 1,500 miles per stay on qualifying rates.  Platinum Plus+ members who are not Aeroplan members will still receive 500 miles per stay on qualifying rates for Asia Miles.
  • Access to Signature Club Lounge is reserved for members staying in Signature Club rooms only.
  • Platinum Plus+ members are entitled to a speedy check-in from the moment a Member arrives at the designated Delta Privilege check-in area.
  • Platinum Plus+ members enjoy complimentary full American or continental breakfast each morning, up to the value of a Delta Canadian Classic breakfast or breakfast buffet. Price varies by property.
