Delta Hotels and Resorts is excited to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec et de Montréal to host the world’s top cyclists until 2018. For this year, Delta Montreal and Delta Quebéc will be the official Grand Prix Cycliste host hotels as part of the North American stop on the prestigious UCI WorldTour.
“Delta Hotels and Resorts has been a proud supporter of the Grand Prix Cyclistes almost from the race’s inception and I’m thrilled we are strengthening our partnership for another four years,” says Sylvain Pierre, Regional Account Director, Delta Hotels and Resorts. “For six days, Delta will be home to hundreds of professional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts who want to be close to the racing action. We are pleased to welcome the world tour to our doorstep and to have this opportunity to showcase Quebec’s unique local culture and bike-friendly activities to an international audience.”
The renewed partnership is another example of Delta’s commitment to genuine hospitality and personalized attention. While enjoying their stay with Delta, guests can relax and indulge in the hotels’ many health and wellness amenities including high-performance menu offerings designed specifically for cyclists, and health facilities such as pool, gym and spa services. Delta Quebec and Delta Montreal are both centrally located near shopping, entertainment and local cultural attractions.
Both Delta Montreal and Delta Quebec are currently refreshing their properties to meet the new Delta Hotels and Resorts design standard. At Delta Quebec, the hotel is about to unveil its new lobby renovations and Delta Montreal’s lobby renewal will begin in late 2014. The guest rooms at each property have been renovated to the new ModeRoom™ design, which features sleek, intuitive and modern design tailored to the needs of today’s traveller.
The 52-year old Canadian hotel company recently unveiled its ‘Expect Even More’ brand campaign with a promise to exceed guest expectations. From coast to coast, Delta is introducing fresh and modern designs and opening new properties in cities such as Ottawa and Kingston that meet Delta’s new brand standards. The biggest symbol of Delta’s transformation is its flagship 46-storey hotel slated to open in downtown Toronto in December 2014. Delta also has plans to open the first four-star, full-service hotel in Waterloo, Ontario in 2014 and Prince George, B.C. and Thunder Bay, Ontario in 2015.
