Delta Hotels and Resorts is offering its Travel Agent Express program to extend deeply discounted rates to travel agents for stays between December 1, 2010 and February 28, 2011. The annual promotion helps agents to familiarize themselves with the brand’s growing portfolio of properties in Canadian destinations from coast to coast.
Qualifying travel agents will enjoy the special rate of $59 for the first room, except at Ontario’s Delta Grandview Resort and Delta Sherwood Inn, which are priced at $85. The rate applies to single or double occupancy, in the Delta Room category and is only available for a maximum ofthree consecutive nights. Additional rooms are available at $75 and $115 respectively.
Travel agents must book in advance by calling central reservations at 1-800-268-3777, and asking for the Travel Agent Express rate. A valid IATA number is required at time of booking. Upon check-in, agents must present a valid travel industry photo ID card, along with a travelagency business card. Air Miles travel agents are also eligible and will be required to present a letter from their employer and photo ID along with a business card in place of IATA identification.
This offer is subject to availability, and incidentals and parking are not included. The Express rateis available at all Delta-branded hotels with the exception of Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge, Delta Residences at Sun Peaks, Royal Private Residence Club (at the Delta Grand Okanagan) and Delta Rocky Crest. This rate is also not available at Delta Whistler Village Suites and Delta Sun Peaks Resorts, where the Express rate will be extended instead in May and October 2011.
