Nestled in the spectacular Coast Mountains less than two hours from Vancouver, Whistler is a year-round destination. Sure, skiing and snowboarding are the biggest draw, but golf, mountain biking, and a long list of other winter and summer activities bring people here, and bring them back again and again.
Distinguished by impressive twin mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, and surrounded by forested valleys, rivers and lakes, the walkable resort town offers countless outdoor adventures.
Explore all that Whistler has to offer with Delta Hotels and Resorts as your home base. A few of our favourite things to do:
- Ski! Whistler has North America’s longest ski season, from November to July, and some of the runs reach right into the edge of Whistler’s pedestrian village. Plus , it’s the only resort in America where you can ski or ride on a glacier.
- Want to take a break from the slopes? Kick back at the Whistler Brewing Company, where you can take a guided tour and sample local brews.
- Take the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain, the longest lift of its kind (3.024 kilometres or 1.88 miles) and the highest lift of its kind with an elevation of 436 metres/ 1,427 feet. Wait a few extra minutes for a silver cabin – its glass bottom will really blow your mind!
- Visit the Scandinave Spa – you’ll enjoy the age-old Finish tradition of soaking in heated outdoor baths.
