Seasonal Activities
Located in the heart of downtown on the Link walkway system, Delta Barrington is connected through an indoor walkway to our sister property, Delta Halifax, with easy access to Casino Nova Scotia and the World Trade and Convention Centre. Good times await you at the surrounding historic pubs filled with loud east coast music and fun-loving maritime atmosphere.
Spring
- Visit Lower Prospect for a day of sea kayaking around the hidden coves of Nova Scotia's South shore.
- Travel to Hall Harbour on the Province's Northern shore to eat some of the freshest lobster Canada has to offer.
Summer
- Take in Halifax's 3KM boardwalk; shop, eat and enjoy some homemade ice cream from cow's or sugas'.
- Stroll up Spring Garden Road shopping district and catch the beauty of Halifax's Public Garden's.
- Travel to Grand Pre Winery on Nova Scotia's North coast in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Take part in their wine tour and tasting and enjoy a fabulous dinner in the winery's Le Caveau restaurant

Fall
- Spot the beauty of Peggy's Cove, the picturesque rocky shoreline and famed Lighthouse.
- Visit Citadel Hill and witness it's transformation over it's 250 year history. Be there for noon for the firing of the guns and changing of the Guard.
Winter
- Skate for an afternoon on Dartmouth Crossing's public skating rink and sip on hot chocolate.
- Take a day trip to Wentworth ski hill with an 815 foot vertical drop and 20 alpine trails.
- Catch some elite hockey with the Halifax Moosehead's, Halifax's QMJHL team. The Metro Centre is located less than a five minute walk from Delta Barrington.
