Summer Activities
Just 45 minutes from Kamloops, Sun Peaks has emerged as a world class, year-round destination resort, offering a comprehensive summer vacation product. The alpine village is located 4000' above sea level, directly adjacent to the golf course and Sunburst Chair Lift, with access to hiking and mountain biking trails, the beautiful alpine blossoms and scenic views. This pedestrian village offers hotels, restaurants and boutiques. Catering, special event and conference facilities are located at the Delta Sun Peaks Resort.
Golf
Sun Peaks Resort offers an 18-hole, Graham Cooke designed golf course
that will please every golfer. 10 years have been spent designing the
ultimate golf experience, offering challenges and rewards accompanied
by spectacular views. Golf season is open from early June to early October each year, 8:00 a.m. to dusk daily.

Mountain Biking
Sun Peaks has been named one of the five best mountain bike parks in North America by BIKE Magazine, and there are 26 reasons why, each of which drops 2000 vertical feet. With trail additions, improved maintenance, and expanded lift capacity Sun Peaks has trails for everyone from beginners to experienced riders.
Even if it's your first time on a mountain bike one of expert instructors can teach you the tricks of the trade, or you can hire a guide for a personal tour.
Choose from high-speed DH runs or free riding single track, to wide open cruisers depending on your preference. Dates of operation for the Sunburst Chair Lift are daily from late June to Labour Day Weekend, Friday to Sunday in September.
