Directions and Local Events

From the Airport

When leaving the airport, the street is Tranquille Road. Continue on this road until 8th Street (26 blocks), and turn left on 8th.
Follow 8th Street for 1.5 km until the turnoff on the right to Halston Avenue.
Turn right on Halston Avenue and follow until the turnoff for the Yellowhead Highway 5 and turn left.
Continue on the Highway for 19 km. On the right-hand side there will be a turnoff for Heffley Creek and a sign for Sun Peaks Resort.
Follow Tod Road to Sun Peaks.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort

From the North

Follow the Yellowhead Highway 5 S to Kamloops.
On the left-hand side there will be a turnoff for Heffley Creek and a sign for Sun Peaks Resort.
Follow the road to Sun Peaks.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort

From the South

Turn right on the Yellowhead Highway 5 to Jasper.
Continue on the Highway for approximately 25km.
On the right-hand side there will be a turn off for Heffley Creek and sign for Sun Peaks Resort.
Follow Tod Road to Sun Peaks.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort

From the East

Take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 E to Kamloops and turn right on the Yellowhead Highway 5 to Jasper.
Continue on the Highway for approximately 25km.
On the right-hand side there will be a turn off for Heffley Creek and a sign for Sun Peaks Resort.
Follow Tod Road to Sun Peaks.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort

From the West

Take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 West to Kamloops and turn right on the Yellowhead Highway 5 to Jasper.
Continue on the Highway for approximately 25km.
On the right-hand side there will be a turnoff for Heffley Creek and a sign for Sun Peaks Resort.
Follow Tod Road to Sun Peaks.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort

From Vancouver

Take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 Eastbound from Vancouver.
Choose the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops (Approx. 3 ¼ to 3 ½ hours).
Once in Kamloops, take the Highway 5 exit, northbound to Jasper approximately 25 km.
Look for signs to Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks and Turn right into Heffley Creek.
Turn left at the Heffley General Store. There is a directional sign for Sun Peaks here. Proceed along this 2 lane road up the mountain to Sun Peaks Resort.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort.

From Seattle

Take the highway 1-5 North to Bellingham.
Exit on Meridian Street, heading east and north towards Sumas border.
Cross the border into Canada at Sumas and take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 eastbound to Hope.
After Hope, you will be given the option of 3 Highways. Choose the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops (Approx. 2 ¾ hours).
Once in Kamloops, take the Highway 5 exit Northbound to Jasper approximately 25 km.
Looks for signs to Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks and turn right into Heffley Creed.
Turn left at the Heffley General Store. There is a directional sign for Sun Peaks. Proceed along this 2 lane road up the mountain to Sun Peaks Resort.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort.

From Jasper

Take the Yellowhead Highway 16 W to Tete Jaune Cache.
Follow the Yellowhead Highway 5 S.
Look for signs for Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks and turn left into Heffley Creek.
Turn left at the Heffley Creek Store. There is a directional sign for Sun Peaks. Proceed along this 2 lane road up the mountain to Sun Peaks Resort.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort.

From Banff

Take the Trans-Canada Highway 1, northwest to Golden.
Take the Rogers Pass then continue to follow Trans-Canada Highway 1 to Kamloops.
Once in Kamloops, take the Highway 5 exit, Northbound to Jasper approximately 25 km.
Look for signs to Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks and turn right into Heffley Creek.
Turn left at Heffley General Store. There is a Directional sign for Sun Peaks here. Proceed along this 2 lane road up the mountain to Sun Peaks Resort.
Once in Sun Peaks, continue along the road until you reach the three-way stop. Turn left onto Village Way and this will lead you directly to Delta Sun Peaks Resort.
